3D process flow diagram

Hello all,

                         I need to create the process flow diagram for air handling unit consist of motors,pumps, AC rooms in 3D. I never worked in 3D graphics before. Very confused from where to start and how to start.

Suggess me some direction.

i am a little confused: how does this refer to LabVIEW?

Are you using LabVIEW to visualize the system on the frontpanel (monitoring system application)? If so, do you use LV Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module?

What link you posted is only for 2012 version & i am using 2011 version.

Asking the local NI branch for an older version of DSC is a good start.

Otherwise (if you don't get it or you decide not to purchase it), you can create your custom 3D controls and indicators by customizing controls (advanced >> customize).

Alternatively, you can use a picture ring for displaying appropriate images of 3D elements.

Hi Nobert,

                                     I tried this DSC module in 2010 in my fried PC, what i found is this image navigator is good for 2D but not for 3D. Then i think that this image navigator is not much useful.

Any other solution for this 3D process flow diagram. I will try this cotrol customization, any document you have on this ?

Do you have a 3d model that you can import into labview to start with?

                                    No i dont have any 3D model to import to labview. But i downloaded some VRML files & called to labview through load vrml files.

I need to create everything from scratch. Any suggestion.
