I am using Lakeshore 330 Autotuning Temperature controller to monitor and control the temperature of a process. I would like to use the serial port of the instrument
to communicate with LabVIEW. The version of LabVIEW I am running is 8.5. I downloaded the driver from NI driver download page. In the read me file, it is mentioned that I can run the Getting started.VI
to check the connections are right. However, I do not find this vi. I tried to run Lakeshore 330 Application Curve.vi in the example folder and it returned an error VISA read error. I have searched the discussion forum for the LS 330 discussion and came up with few messages. Can anyone give me link to the getting started.vi. I also appreciate a lot, if I can get some information on how to acquire the data using the serial port.
