Adding Labels to Front Panel

I love this board--it's like being able to cheat during a lab practical when you get stuck.

How can I add simple text labels to my VI's front panel?  I found everything but said issue when I searched.

On the Controls palette select Decorations, there is a free label in there you can use for your front panel.

Also you can use the test tool and click on the front pannel and start typing.  Just remember, lables are simple and are not programatically controlled at runtime.  If you need the ability to change the text use a caption from a control or a string control.  You can set the background and border of a string control to transparent and It will look just like a simple lable.

If you have automatic tool selection on, you can just double-click the front panel and start typing.  This creates a text label.
