Are there any known tutorials for 3d mapping in Labview 7.1

I need to make a 3d plot using 2 output signals and 1 input signal. The heart of the problem lies in my lack of knowledge of labview's (7.1)3d graphing util functionality. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I constructed the attached IV for mapping x,y,z data. My question is what type of data/signal is to be wired to the xVector, yVector, and zVector terminals. For example, how would I connect the signal from the attached traingle wave VI to the xVector terminal in the mapping VI?
