I have seen this several times since I upgraded to 8.6.1f1, but cannot swear it doesn't exist in 8.6 or 8.6.1.
Suppose you have an existing event:
And you wish to duplicate the event by choosing "Duplicate Event Case...". LabVIEW displays the following:
You will notice that the Event Properties show a Disregard? in place of Source and then it indicates that all of the other event properties are invalid (black text), and the VI shows a broken arrow. However, if you recompile the VI by running it or clicking the run button with the CTRL key pressed, it will update to be correct.

Hi Matthew,
This was reported to R&D (#161606) for further investigation. Thanks for the feedback!

I have seen a similar phenomenon with UNBUNDLE BY NAME, as of 8.6.
If I have an UNBUNDLE BY NAME on the diagram, disconnect the input from one cluster, and connect it to another (of the same type), the outputs will turn black and be broken.
Simply popping up on one output and letting go will set them all where they should be.

Hi Steve,
Can you post a screenshot of what you're talking about? I can't seem to replicate the bug.

Hey Matthew!
This bug has actually been reproduced in 8.6 and 8.5.
If you could tag this post as the "Solution", that would be great; the forum readers will then know that this is not a bug in the 8.6.1f1 patch 🙂
Thanks!

Chris,
I am not sure if you read my original post (or even the subject). This is occurring in 8.6.1f1 as well. It still exists.
