Baumer Camera not connect to cRIO

Hello Guys,

I am trying to connect my gigaE camera from Baumer with cRIO 9022 via ethernet port but I can not discover the camera in MAX. I also tried to connect the camera directly to PC and it works fine. I checked for the IMAQdx drivers on my cRIO and they are properly installed.

Secondly, I also tried to connect to the USB port of cRIO (with ethernet to USB 3 converter) but still I can not see the camera in my MAX device list.

Please suggest some possible solution.

Hi,

have you checked if the camera and cRIOs second ethernet port have propper IP settings e.g. are in the same subnet?

Kind regards

Heinz

Hi,

are you sure your setup should work since the controller is rather old?

This KB states:

"GigE Vision
Cameras following the GigE Vision standard are supported by high-performance, multi-core cRIO devices, such as the cRIO-908x and cRIO-903x series.  There are currently no sbRIO targets that support GigE Vision cameras."

If it is an IP camera then try this link:

But it seems there are only Basler and AXis cameras supported...

Hello,

Yes, I consider this as a compatibilty issue between camera and cRIO type.

Thank you
