When I try to build an .exe file Labview gives me the error listed below: An error occurred while saving the following file: E:\SourceCode\LV\WaferChar\Work\Prgm\_WaferChar.vi Invoke Node in AB_Source_VI.lvclass:Close_Reference.vi->AB_Build.lvclass:Copy_Files.vi->AB_Application.lvclass:Copy_Files.vi->AB_Build.lvclass:Build.vi->AB_EXE.lvclass:Build.vi->AB_Build.lvclass:Build_from_Wizard.vi->AB_UI_FRAMEWORK.vi->AB_CreateNewWizard_Invoke_CORE.vi->EBUIP_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi->EBUIP_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller<APPEND>Method Name: <b>Save:Target Instrument</b> No more, no less Any idea what's going wrong? I already shorten the paths to the maximum! This is the longest path to the VI's I've made: E:\SourceCode\LV\WaferChar\Work\Prgm Far from the 255 allowed. Thanks for any reaction! I'm using LV 8.6

Titou's first idea was closest of all suggestions I delete the 3 project files (MyProject.aliases, MyProject.lvlps and MyProject.lvproj) and create a new project with the same vi's, typedef's, .... ... all in the same folder. No more errors while creating the EXE file 🙂

Just had the same issue -- deleting my project and adding my library back in and re-creating my build spec did the trick. Annoying, but guessing it was just corrupted data...
