Can NI-DAQ 6.5 use Windows XP USB with a patch or update?

I am now trying to interface LabVIEW with hardware via NI-DAQ, but my NI-DAQ version doesn't seem to work with Windows XP. Is there a patch or update I can download or acquire free of charge that would allow NI-DAQ 6.5 to interface via Windows XP USB ports? The USB recognizes that there is a device plugged in but there is no communication going on.

The latest version of NI-DAQ can be found here. The first reference I can see to WinXP is for version 6.9.2 according to the list here.

In my old labview 5.1 version, Ni-DAQ 6.5 was used.

I would kindly request you to please tel me which NI-DAQ version is used for labview 8.2 and also compatability to support hardware already used in 5.1 version.

NI-DAQ was renamed to Traditional DAQ since it was replaced by DAQmx. New designs should use DAQmx unless you are using a card that is not supported by DAQmx. The Release Notes for the specific DAQmx version will tell you what devices it supports.

Thank you very much for your kind help.

I install NI-DAQ 6.9.3 in labview 8.2 and is also compatability with labview 5.1.

I open the old computer window 95 cpu to find any national instrument PCI card is present or not, but i not find any PCI card.

Actually the instrument  run by (labview 5.1, windows 95, Fieldpoint 1000, FieldPoint Explorer 1.6, NI-DAQ 6.5.1) is worked by other persion is retired from the department.

It was worked perfectly and take measurement by them.

The probelm now i received is connection to auquisition board was not found when i run probe.vi file in labview.

If FieldPoint 1000 hardware is using he instrument means there is no need TO USE NI-DAQ PCI card?

I would kindly request you to help, i do not know what to do now.
