Can a rtexe be deployed to different cRIO controllers

When I build a rtexe, I have to create a RT target, for example, cRIO 9014.  My question is: After I build the rtexe, can I deploy it to other types of cRIO controller, for exampe, cRIO 9012, supposing the controller has the same system software installed and same type of chassis.

Hi,

Having the same FPGA (backplane) and the same OS (VXWorks,Pharlap) then you should be able to simply add the controler to your project, move or copy the files and create the exectuable without seeing a different bahaviour.

But I would suggest you to do a search for the "System Replication Tookit" which creates an image of your cRIO and you can port it to others.
