Can't open the block diagram for a VI

I can't open the block diagram for a VI, the show block diagram option is greyed out. Also the VI was created on a different computer, which I no longer have access to.

Maybe the block diagram got removed. In this case there is no way to get it back. (see also)

Yes, it has no block diagram.

This makes it nearly worthless, because it can also not be loaded in any later LabVIEW version.

You need to ask whoever wrote it for the original that includes the diagram.
