Hello
Error 56003 occurred at Invoke Node ... Possible reason(s): LabVIEW: Adding this item would cause a conflict with another item.
This does not happen with ECUMC version 15.0!
I found out, that this only happens if I use the "MC Get Property.vi" from the ECUMC toolkit.
I also found out that the ECUMC.lvlib in version 18.0 has a "incorrectly claimed VI" "MC CAN IO Mode.ctl"
Since "MC CAN IO Mode.ctl" is called from "MC Get Property.vi" I strongly believe this is the reason for the build error!
I cannot fix this incorrectly claimed VI because the library is password protected.
Attached is an example project to demonstrate this behavior. If you build the ECUMC Test.lvlib in this example project, you will get the error. If you remove the "ECUMC Test NOK.vi" from the lib and build again, the build will succeed.
It would be nice if

If you want NI to know about this problem, go to support.ni.com and file a Support Ticket. The NI Application Engineers are very helpful. [You may need to be under Support to do this ...].

P.S. -- Never mind, I logged this request for you ...

Hi Bob,
you are right, and I usually do contact NI support immediately in such cases, but I somehow decided to to put this into the community forum first for some reason. What do you mean with "I logged this request for you"?

I meant that I opened a Support Ticket, described the problem, included a link to your Forum Post, and asked them to take a look. It was the Day Before Thanksgiving, so it may be a few days before an AE starts looking at it. At the present time, no-one has "claimed" it ...

Hi Thomas and Bob,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
Thomas, I think it would make sense for you to create a Service Request at ni.com/support, so that we can keep you updated and communicate about providing a workaround. I would make one for you, but I would need your contact information, which you may not want to provide on the forums. If you make the request, feel free to mention my name (Zofia K) in the service request, so that my colleague who receives it can talk to me about it. I'm in the AE department, and we would be the ones working with you on it.

Thank you Zofia, I will create a support ticket.

Getting the same error on building a packed project library.
Is there any updates or ideas on the issues?
Or can NI needs to replace the control and re build the packed ecumc library.
Thanks in advance!

No update so far. I have created a support ticket yesterday, so it will take some time for a response. The library needs to be rebuilt with that VI fixed, no big deal, but we can't do that.
