Hello,
I'm using LabView community edition on a windows computer, and I'm unable to modify anything in the block diagram, like create a constant, a control or an indicator. I open it in the edit mode and there is no protection on it. I've tried to reinstall the program, use different windows computer but it's the same thing, cannot edit block diagram. However, I do not have this problem when I use macOS computer. Any ideas what might be the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a licensing issue. Check if your license has expired.

I've installed it this morning, it gave me 45 days free trial, I thought I could use it with that license.

Are you trying to edit a main VI or a subVI? What does it look like? Can you post a screenshot?

(I doubt this has anything to do with licensing. If the license has expired, you probably cannot even open a VI)
If you create a new VI, can you edit that?
Have you tried pressing ctrl+m? Maybe it is in run mode?

It's in the edit mode, for example I can put Visa box in the diagram window but when I try and click create constant or control it does nothing.

Maybe try recording a little video with this:
(I have used it back when it was called "Screencast-o-matic" and it worked great for this kind of thing but haven't used it recently).

Could you post the VI in question? I suspect the file is set to "read-only", as in Windows file settings.

I have recorded the video. I left click to create constant, control or something but nothing happens, it just disappears without anything. Mouse is working fine, I have Labview 5.1 on other computer and it works fine there.
