I use Channel Wires all the time, and problems are rare. I certainly cannot conceive of thinking about trying LabVIEW NXG until they get Channel Wires!

Yeah, NXG is another wonder I have, what is it and why is it 😅 For the record, I just came back to LV after my last use in ....2017 running on LV 2015 or even 13 can't recall, at a "CLAD level"
Those things look new to me for now, so thanks for your insights!

NXG is a massive rewrite of the LabVIEW IDE. It is needed in order to get a lot of the features we have been asking for for a long time. Put another way, the LabVIEW IDE became is based on 30+ year old technology and there are many core functions that cannot be simply refactored in order to fix some major things. So from a fresh start, you suddenly have Zoom, Unicode, and a much more modular architecture to extend the language and let 3rd party (open source) extend the language. Is it ready for me to use it? Not quite. I haven't found a good reason to start porting all of my libraries to NXG. My current thought is in another 5 years.
But that is for another thread...
