Color Ramp (Gauge) not displaying on touch panel

Greetings,

When I run my LABVIEW 8.2 code on my windows CE touch panel, all my gauges that have color ramps do not show their color ramps. They only show numbers. Can anyone direct me to a post about this or know what to do to show the color ramp?

Thanks

I have verified this behavior on my end (color ramp not appearing on touch panel), and I am currently working on submitting the issue to our R&D team. It seems that this is expected behavior, but at the very least it should appear in the list of known issues for the LabVIEW 8.2 Touch Panel Module (or the ramp option should be excluded in the LV Touch Panel Module). Hopefully we will see this feature added in a future version of LabVIEW!

In the mean time, I will continue to search for a workaround for this issue and let you know if I find a way to view a ramp on my Touch Panel.

It is 6 years later. Do you have a workaround now?

I am experiencing the same problem. I have a touch panel with 24 bit colour capability, and set the project to 24 bit, but still the shades of guages dont render correctly as well as labels that are put "in front" of a gauge.

Any help?

Greetings;

Would you happen to be working on the same version of LabVIEW as well as also a Windows CE target? From a cursory glance to the following article, it would seem that on these targets, digital displays in general do not quite display as initially expected:

I am working on Labview 2012 and Windows CE 5.0

There are quite a few display irregularities between the design time VI and the run time VI on different controls. What is surprising is that this has been long outstanding if I look at the dates of other posts.

Is there not a way that I can build my own controls for Windows CE?
