Hi all, 

This might be silly but I am unable to comment on the whitespace anymore.(Labview) It was working fine 5 minutes ago and suddenly it stopped working. Any ideas why?

I just restarted my laptop.

Could it have been that you actually accidentally turned off automatic tool selection?  That would make it so you would have to manually select the text cursor to place a label.  If you tried using the default arrow, it would act like creating a free label no longer worked...

I checked just now, automatic tool selection is in place.
