You will find some general information on LabVIEW under http://www.ni.com/labview/whatis/

A quick google search gave also some nice articles:

There have been numerous discussions on this forum of this and related topics. A search of LabVIEW vs. C will bring up a number of them.

Two links discussing LabVIEW and textual base languages, like LabWindows/CVI (National Instruments flavor of the C development environment) are here:

C# and LabVIEW are both modern computer programming languages. That pretty much sums up the similarities. The differences are succinctly described by our scholarly Altenbach on this page of the one of the previous links

Your question is too vague. And besides it's meaningless to compare C# to .NET. C# is a language that uses .NET. .NET is a framework, not a programming language. Your question could just as easily ask "can you tell me the comparison between C++ (the non-.NET version) and LabVIEW?".

There have been numeous discussions on comparing LabVIEW with text-based programming. Please do a search before asking such a vague question.
