Convert LabVIEW 8.x to LabVIEW 7.x ?

This is undoubtedly a stupid question, but here goes anyway: how do I convert LabVIEW 8.x to LabVIEW 7.x?

I have both LabVIEW 8.6.1 and LabVIEW 7.1 installed on a WinXP system, but the "Save for Previous Version" dialog only shows LabVIEW 8.x sub-versions. But I see in the discussion forums that occasionally a moderator has converted such-and-such a VI to 7.x - what's the secret ?

You need LabVIEW 8.6,8.0 and 7.1 to be Installed in your machine to convert from 8.6 to 7.1, from 8.6 u can convert upto 8.0 and open the code in 8.0 and convert to 7.1 simple 🙂
