Converter for LabVIEW 2.0 (MAC) needed

Hello everybody,

I've an old LabVIEW 2.0 VI which was originally build on a MAC computer. I want to convert this VI to 32Bit PC platform, so that I can use this VI with LabVIEW 7.1.
Does anybody know something about a converter?
Thanks.

It's NI's PN 776874-03 and it's free. See the Knowledge Base here.  Good luck.

Hi Donald,

thank you very much. Do you have a FTP link for me?

Unfortunately, no.  I don't think one exists.  You have to get the package on CD.

Yes, I've contacted my sales. They ship me the CD.

Thanks

Hello,

I've got the conversion kit. Unfortunately, the kit can't convert between the different platform or?

I've a LV 2.0 VI build on a MAC and I want to use this VI on a PC. Any suggestions how to convert (e.g. HEX editor)?

Cheers

You will need access to a Power Mac to do the conversion from LV2 to LV3 (i.e. open the LV2 vi on a Mac using the Power Mac version of LV3 from the CD). LabVIEW only became cross-platform in v3.  Once you have it saved in V3 you can move to a PC and convert it to LV4.

There was one person a few months ago (here) who seemed to have a bad conversion package CD.
