[DAQ Assistant] Trouble Triggering Off Channel

I have a CompactDAQ setup with several voltage/strain/accelerometer cards.  For all my gauges I have a linear interpolation function for the gauge calibration provided by the calibrator.  For example my one calibrated gauge is y = 297 + 4820x where x is millivolts and y is the calibrated value.  

What I want to do is record data from multiple channels while triggering off the calibrated value on one channel with a pretrigger.  So when my strain gauge gets to 1000uStrain I want to trigger all the other channels and collect some pretrigger samples.  It seems simple enough, I just can't figure out how to do it with the DAQ Assistant.  I am still relatively new to Labview and any help would be greatly welcomed.  Thanks!

Hi Picaboy,

DAQ Assistant may not be the way to go when you are trying to do something as advanced as triggering off of an analog source.  Please take a look at the following link and see if this may be something similar to what you are trying to do.  It is an example for triggering from an analog source to acquire input.  You can read the help documentation about the various functions to understand them better as well.  There are many options for what you would like to do and this is just one example.  If you have any questions, please feel free to post them and we'll do our best to help!
