The problem is that bus powered USB M Series devices do not support the 'Counter Output Event'. If you open DAQmx Create Timing Source (Frequency).vi, you'll see that this is what it is attempting to do. I don't believe that you'll be able to use a counter on your 6211 as a timing source for your timed loop.
