Hi Guys,
I am having issues getting my sbRIO 9606 to deploy.
Everything goes fine until during the deployment process i get this:
Deploying sbRIO 9606 Chassis (sbRIO-9606)
LabVIEW: (Hex 0x80DF001E) The deployment plug-in for this item cannot be found. Verify the proper software is installed.
I have tried reinstalling LV (ensuring that the FPGA & RT deployment options are checked) and the 9606 embedded software but it has made no difference. I am still waiting for my serial key to come through from NI, do I need to wait until I have it registered before I can deploy?

Hi Adam,
From looking at your project and MAX software tree I see a couple things that might throw this error. First, you have RT code developed under your controller in your project. This isn't bad, except that the controller doesn't appear to have LabVIEW Real-Time installed on it. In MAX go to the controller, right-click the Software item under your controller and select "Add/Remove Software." Once the window opens up, select "Custom software installation." In the next menu select "LabVIEW Real-Time 11.0." After the installation completes try deploying again. If that doesn't work, you may consider reformatting the controller portion of your sbRIO and doing a fresh software installation on it. For reformatting, this document may be helpful (although it is for cRIO, the same principles still apply).

Hi Tim,
Real time 11 is installed as per the recommended software stack installer included on the NI RIO disk that came in the starter pack.
The problem is that the recommended software installer installed NI Scan Engine 3.0.
The sbRIO 9606 does not support Scan Engine.
Once the scan engine support was uninstalled I was able to deploy to my 9606.

Hi Adam,
Good to hear it's working. For future reference, this document is updated by R&D with all of the most current RIO platform compatibilities.
