I frequently need to install older NI software versions and have a library of several years of past NI Developer Suite Discs. Does NI provide a table of all the software versions and on which Developer Suite distribution they can be found?

Hi ToddK,
As you have probably discovered, each disc contains a readme file as well as an html file named developersuite which links to here. This link works great for listing the contents of the most recent distribution, unfortunately there is not a listing for older releases as this time. Is there a particular version I can help you find?
Thanks,
Andrew S

Andrew,
At the moment I was looking for DIAdem 2010, Version 11.2 and was able to find it on the DevSuite 2010 Q4 distribution. I'm aware of the readme files provided with each release, I was just wondering if NI happened to have a master list for each release and the versions included. It would take several days to manually search each disc set to make my own list.
Thanks,
Todd

Todd,
I can certainly see how it would be helpful to have a comprehensive listing of past verions included in each of the distribution disc sets. I'm going to investigate this a bit and see if there's any reason why this information has not been made public already (I don't see why it shouldn't be). If it's ok for the web, then I will follow-up to see if we can get this information published probably in the form of a knowledge base. If not, I'll update this thread with that news.
Regards,
Andrew S.

Andrew,
Has any progress been made on obtaining the list of software versions? I just had another customer support request requiring the use of older NI software versions.
Thanks,
Todd

These two searches should list the information you are looking for:

Older developer suites contained cards that listed all the software and its version (and the version was in bold if there was a change from the previous developer suite release). I understand that maintinaing such a card, printing it and adding it to the disks may cost a few cents, but at least for the license agreement nobody seems to care about the cost for adding an extra paper in there I could plaster an entire house with them by now.

rolfk: They still do... and you get a "nice" cover with too in every yearly major release.

Hmm, not here! I just get a card board box with a license document and a black fabric map full of DVDs but there is no printed list of software versions. I assumed this is because they decided to save a few pennies, but maybe there is something else going on. It is part of a multi user license, so maybe that is the reason.

Craig,
Thanks for the search links. Here's another helpful link for the NIDS Add-On Component Versions like TestStand, VeriStand, DIAdem, etc...
