Digital Lines USB6218

Hi,

I'm trying to send a digital signal to a set of 3D cameras to start their acquisition; using a USB 6218. As a trial (I don't have the cameras here yet), I tried to send a digital signal and acquire it using the same device. So I connect a DO (P1.0/Ground) to a DI (P0.0/Ground) and I monitor it through NIMAX. I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong because I cannot see anything in the input. Thanks for your help.

To be clear, you're using the test panels in NI MAX? Like here where I wire my port 0.0 and 0.1 together and set them up as DO and DI?

That's what I want to think I'm doing, yes.

Yeah, I mean I'd sanity check everything with a multimeter. Make sure all DOs produce 5Vs. Check the 5V to GND is 5V. Then apply the 5Vs from the 5V port to the DIs to test to see if you can read them on the test panel. If you've done all these things and it checks out then I guess you can always try reinstalling the device drivers.
