Hi kavi,

i use an udl file to connect to the database (i use also a mdb file).

The only thing you need to change is to set the "Marks value" into quotation marks.

I tried with it with mdb.udl extension and Marks with in Quatation  gives an error

Error -2147287038 occurred at NI_Database_API.lvlib:DB Tools Open Connec (String).vi->NI_Database_API.lvlib:DB Tools Open Connec (Path).vi->Database_Example_Update_LV85(2).vi

 I have not created UDL just i create create system dsn for my access file.

Wat to do now?

DSN file is sufficient to make the connection.

try the query with your dsn connection.

have you ever had a connection to your database?

If you don't get an error from your "OPen Database" vi, then use your posted example, but put the 101 into quotation marks.

You also can create a *.udl file and double click it. Select "Microsoft Jet... Provider" as provider. Change to the next tab and select your mdb file. Check the connection and close the window (use ok for it). After that you can use your udl file as connection information on the "DB Tools Open Connection.vi".

I dont get an error from the vi i already send to u.I also Put the Mark values inside the Quotations still im getting error from

 DB TOOLS Execute Queries
