Embed image and text over a control preserving its responsivity

Hi all,

i'm wondering if it's possible to add images&text in front a boolean control while preserving the possibility to click on on its full size, and not only on exposed parts where images or text does not cover the control on background. Actually i can click on control only on its exposed parts...

in attached pic i've highlighted the parts where i can click, if i click on image or text the control does not change its state...

You could put the picture behind the booleans, but in general it's not a good idea to have things overlapping on a front panel. Luckily, the button are only behind a black banner at the bottom of the pretty part of the image.

Another solution is to trim the banner off the image and replace it with a filled decoration and a text label for the words "Hammoc Sea". Visually it would look the same.

Could also be handled with a mousedown? filter event for the button (check to see if the mouse down occured within a set of defined boulds otherwide filter the mouse down).

Modify the image so it doesn't have the large black bar at the bottom of it.

Now create a decoration (check the help) and color it so that it is black. Size it so it is the same size and shape as the black bar that used to be at the bottom of the image.

Create a free text label, set the text color to white, and place it on top of the black decoration you created.

Finally, place the two button on top of the decoration whee you want them.

Ok, I see what you mean. In that case you almost need to do the opposite of what I said earlier.

You need to generate two versions of the image. One that has the dark green bar and the text at the bottom of it and one with the light green bar and the test at the bottom of it. Now edit the boolean and include the images in the control's picture items - check out the help on how to edit controls for specific guidance. Including the pictures this way will make the picture and the text part of the button itself so clicking anywhere will activate it.
