Hi X:
The recommended way to get the Boolean value out of a cluster is to use the standard unbundle or the unbundle-by-name functions. I am looking into the compile error and I'll file a corrective action report if it's not already known.

That is the old way.
LV has gotten better since the day when we had to unbundle the boolean and wire to a case structure etc.

Thanks Kevin4Truth... So after the "expected" behavior, we now have the "recommended way". I really should start reading the manual!

I agree that no user actions (short of type casting) should crash LV.

It's an extra thing to worry about when upgrading, migrating, etc. I'd rather use dirty but native tricks.
