This issue was reported and captured in CAR 212136. It is reported as fixed in 2012 SP1.

Hi Ken, I get the same error when using Report Generation Toolkit and try to build my application. Enabled debugging, check all my 300 case structures (and no const wired to selectors), unchecked exclusions but nothing works.

A property node on Excel Set Color And Border on NI_EXCEL_lvclass was truly unlinked. Following your indication I've solved my problem!! Thanks a lot!!
