Hi everibody,
i have a problem which i am trying to solve.
From my cDAQ i acquire a signal from a Laser.
The value i receive, fluctuate between 69,14 and 69,22. I would reduce this vibration to have a signal constan.
In atteached there is a picture of my acquired waveform.
How can i reduce this fluctuation?!
Thanks

Hi Gio,
How can i reduce this fluctuation?!
Change the Y scaling of your chart! 😄
Serious background, even when there is a smiley: Right now you show a range of 0.08 on your Y scale - for a value of ~69.2! This is just 0.12% of the mean value.
How accurate is your measurement system?
What's the expected error of your measurement?
Simple solution to your problem: use a running average (aka PtByPt-Mean)!
