I am using Labview7.0 with DSC. I am trying to generate .dat file for Data History Report in my SCADA. In this .dat file User wants to see data for some perticular time period. My user is giving Start Time Stamp, Stop Time Stamp & Sampling Interval for data history report. I am getting data from citadel database using Write Traces to Spreadsheet.vi tool in DSC Module VIs of block diagram. My software coding part you can see in coding.bmp file in attachment. In scf file I have given database path datalog_rSCADAv72.1a, which you can see in my attached databasepath.bmp file. Write Traces to Spreadsheet.vi tool is using datalog_rSCADAv72.1a path for data retrival. But I am getting below problems.
1. Some times Write Traces to Spreadsheet.vi tool gives data from database path but some times it doesnot give.
2. When .dat file gets generate with minimum sampling interval = 1sec for complete 48 hrs trial my PC gets hanged &
software stops working.
3. Pl suggest how to solve this problem or is there any way to generate secure file for Data History Report in
which user can not be able to change data? User can only able to view data or print data.
4. Also we want to think about Memory space in harddisk of PC means Data History file should not be of large size.
