I'm trying to modify a gauge in LabVIEW by replacing the standard needles
I'm using Visio 2007 and as suggested in this topic
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&thread.id=112786
I'm saving my custom needles as .emf files. Nevertheless when I replace the old needle with the new one it doesn't rotate correctly - it moves in a circle, but always faces the same direction, meaning it's not a real rotation.
Any idea how I could fix that?
Thanks

This is the only tag I have that is realted.
Bottom Line:
There is no way to get an imported image to rotate. AS you have found you can move its center but not rotate. I thinked we discussed this topic in the LabVIEW Champions forum and there is some reason we can't get at these images.
Sorry, and hope that someone will someday show me the way,
Ben

Really? There's no option at all?
Could one at least edit LabVIEW elements themselves? I mean, I don't have to import a new object from Visio if I knew how to edit the LabVIEW needles.
Thanks

No option that leverages the built-in fucntionality of LV controls.
This Nugget by Yair is the best thread for this type of Q.
The htread you cited apears to include mention of using the Picture control based on Christian's Rotate example.
offering all I have,
