Graphing Frequency and Time of a Waveform

Sigh.  You give hints, and no-one puts on their "thinking cap".  Do me a favor -- attach a short segment of a sound file (make sure I can "play" it, but that should be my worry ...) so I can run short test of my own and be sure I'm not "blowing smoke".  It seems so obvious to me (and I think I largely hinted at how to do it, but I may have erred in assuming you knew some "practical electronics" ...).

Assuming?! You get kudos for that sir. I may have to email the sound file to you. I'm using an .mp3 that I converted to .wav to run on LabVIEW and neither of those can be uploaded (copyrights I'm sure).

OK, so find a suitable file on the Web whose URL you can post (so we are both working from the same thing ...).

Finding free .wav loops involves getting into some sketchy websites that I want neither of our computers to be infected by. I converted the .wav I'm using from an mp3 that I bought. If you have any .wav files, then by all means try it for yourself. I'm at the point where I do think you're blowing a little smoke. 😉

have you tried to zip your files?

It really makes sense when you provide example files with known expected output results...
