Has anyone used the IC Capture Extension to take pictures?

Hello, I'm trying to use Labview's IC capture extension to take some pictures automatically, however whenever I take pictures using it the pictures end up with a moire pattern that does not appear in the pictures when taking them not through labview. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It typically helps to provide significantly more details and links. I guess you are talking about this extension.

A Moire pattern is typically caused by a mismatch between mapping pixels of the sensor (and possibly the objects) and pixels of the display.

How are you talking and displaying pictures when it works? can you show an example?

How are you talking and displaying pictures when you get the artifacts? can you show an example?

This extension seems to be based on an ActiveX control. As such the entire processing would be done in the external component provided by Imaging Source and the only people who could answer your specific questions are them. We have no idea what that ActiveX component does and how it stores images to disk and in fact couldn’t even check if we wanted to as that is inside that ActiveX component. The fact that it is using ActiveX would indicate that it is a rather old product and it may be difficult to get support even from the manufacturer of it.
