Have LabVIEW VIs been developed for use with the Omicron CM Engine dll? It is the software interface to the CMC-256 hardware, a 3-phase voltage and current source.

Hello Del,

I looked on Omicron's Site and they have not made an instrument driver for this as well as NI does not have a instrument driver posted. LabVIEW does allow you to talk to a dll through the call library node. Here is a link to get you started:

I hope this helps.

Hi All,

Here comes up with a new LabVIEW PnP driver for CMC-256. Hope it is not too late to help your projects.

In the last message in this thread, before you revived it after 11 years, is a link to a driver that you can download. It is not using ghe Engine.dll but instead directly communicating through TCP/IP with the device but that has the advantage that all is fully in LabVIEW VIs and not hidden inside a DLL. Much easier to debug your application and less chance to crash your program.
