Help back-saving a library to LabView 7.0

I'm trying to use the NI Modbus library (http://sine.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4756).  The library files are compiled for LabView 7.1, 8.2, 8.5, and 8.6.  Unfortunately, I'm running LabView 7.0.  Does anyone have any suggestions for how I might be able to get this to work with LV 7.0 or could anyone offer assistance in back-saving the library file into a format LabView 7.0 can read?
