Histogram with Text Labels

Solved!
Go to solution

Can histograms be created in LabVIEW that have a numeric count for the Y-axis and text lables for the X-axis?  I want to be able to use text to describe the bins on the X-axis.  Want to add names and not numbers to the X-axis.

Simular to what they are doing here with DIAdem

Hi Matthew,

The only solution to that Q (that I know about) is to use a pciture control to render the text labels as I showed in this thread.

Wow, where there is a will there is a way.  Not exactly straight forward but very creative solution.  Looks like you are just layering your XY graph on top of your picture control that contains the text labels.  Correct?  Thanks for sharing your solution!

Hello,

Update of the same question😉

Is there, 13 years and 13 LV versions later, a more straightforward method to achieve the same goal?

Thanks in advance !
