How do I extract the timestamp from a CAN frame

Hi GerdW,

Where did you find the example? I couldn't find it through the "Find Examples" in the help menu. Are you able to attach it?

Thanks

Hi rookie,

Where did you find the example? Where did you find the example? I couldn't find it through the "Find Examples" in the help menu.

I don't know anymore. Did you read Hooovahhs message where he (I guess) mentioned the very same conversion VI?

Are you able to attach it?

I attached a snippet…

Best regards,
GerdW

One of the examples this is used in is the Replay CAN Frames from TDMS Logfile.vi.  This is an XNet example that takes the raw data from a TDMS file, and converts it into actual frames to be written.  Diving into this conversion routine is where the U64 to timestamp converting code can be found.
