How to choose an NI DAQ for measurement?

Hey I wanted to know if there are some calculations or approaches I can understand or get my hands on to choose an NI module for the Data Acquistion part of my project. I have to read signals for strain gauges for a dynamic system.

I would also recommend to define all terms, for example what is a "dynamic system"? (probably not this! )

What are your requirements, e.g. speed, budget restrictions, etc.

Also, NI makes multiple "types" of DAQ.

Which of these are you looking into?

• USB single device
• USB/Ethernet modular DAQ (Compact DAQ or cRIO) with module(s)
• PCIE DAQ card
• PXI chassis with card(s)

The simplest solution to read strain gauges is a cDAQ with bridge input module such as the cDAQ-SL1100 bundle
