How to merge file to waterfall plot (spectral map)

Hello,

I have file from vibration testing (run up measurement). This files are consist of many files and stored in the time domain. each file that is stored has a different speed. I want the file is plotted on the spectral map (waterfall or cascade plot), but I have no idea how to make it? (file formats: *.dat)

Anyone can help me?

Sorry, I did not get it. Can you store a file inside antother?   (except if they are zipped! )

1. Do you know what format the files are written? Try to find out.(rows and columns)

2. Browse example vis for File operations. There are many examples shipped with your LV to help you with file read/writes

3. Get the data in required format, datatype. (DBL/SGL). Then use the waterfall and cascade(offline) vi from examples to display your data.
