Have bugs? In Christian's code? The requirements must be wrong!
I know there are bugs, especially edge effects that are masked by the fact that the first handful of elements in the array are zero.
There there are probably flaws due to the fact that we map floating point positions into integer indices. All I did was cleanup the existing code, so fundamental logical errors may still exists. Must likely the entire algorithm could be rewritten more logically. 😉
