Icon Labels on functions palette not appearing

Solved!
Go to solution

I have a very simple problem. I'm using LV 2009. Usually, there are labels underneath each icon, but now I have to mouse over the icon for the label to appear in a blue bar at the top of the palette. Is there any way I can change it so that the default has the full icon name appear? I hope my description of the problem was clear enough. Please let me know if yo need more details.

Thanks.

Greetings folks,

This issue has seem to come back in LabVIEW 2024 Q1. It doesn't seem to remember the setting. You have to enable 'Icons and Text' each time you use the functions palette. Am I the only one seeing this?

Much thanks to dnatt for saving my sanity:

"Did you check your settings? This is ultimately saved into labview.ini, Tools >> Options >> Controls/Functions Palettes >> Formatting >> Palette set to "Category (Icons and Text)"

Another crisis averted...
