Identify row and column during "mouse over"

Hi!

   I have a text table in which, when i move the mouse over, I would like to know row and column ot the cell I am over.

Is there something already done to do it?
Else I have to calculate it from the (X,Y) coordinates, changing active cell on the first row to know the width of every column?

I really ignored that that method existed!
Was it there since a long time or only in newest version of labview?

That method was not always there. In old version of LV we had to bend over backwards to do the conversion you had mentioned and keep track of any scroll bar.

I try to read the update notes regularly but I can not recall reading about that addition. Add to that fact it is a "method" and not a property it is even more obscure.

So how new?

I can not say.

I can say that the old adage I was taught when I started labVIEW "If in doubt, right click." has been expanded to include looking at the methods in addition to the properties.
