Integrating Flow-Bus into message queue

Hello,

I'm new to LabView and have a problem with my Code. I have an already existing LabView Code for an experimental rig. For the experiment we want to add 4 massflowcontroller via flow-bus. The programm is build around a message queue and I'm not sure how to connect the flow-bus icons to that message queue structure. I was looking into the manual by bronkhorst for flow-bus but didn't find anything helpful. I think our application is very basic so it will be similar to the example i uploaded. The message queue is also there. Thanks in advance.

take a look on the message queue handler  example on LabVIEW so you understand how labview handles this programming structure. You can also share the code here so we can give better, advice. We can't do much with just images.

The image you shared just show an empty initialization case on the flow-bus loop.

Thanks for the answer!
The Initialization case empty because I don't really know what to put in there^. Can I put the initialization icon from flow bus in it? It's hard for me to understand how I can connect the message queue icons with my flow bus icons. If not necessary, the different cases can be put together. The picture shows the basic code for one MFC.

Are you the same person as in this thread? Or just doing the same classroom course?

It would seem extreme coincidence that two different people not working on the same project post exactly the same images of very trivial VIs and having the same setup with 4 flow controllers, and a very similar lack of understanding what they are doing.

No I‘m not. Sorry for my lack of understanding but like I said, I‘m completely new to LabView and have a hard time understanding it. What seems trivial for a person who works with LabView several years doesn’t have to be trivial for a newbie. I thought this forum would help me to get an deeper understanding of LabView but I may have to learn it more before asking more questions. Nevertheless thanks for the answers.

Well, part of using a forum like this is also about searching for answers that have already been given. And considering the timely coincidence even a cursory glance over the first page of messages would have given you that other thread and shown you quite a bit of information that you could have processed before posting your own question. So sorry if I was harsh, but trying to solve a problem goes further than just posting a very condense message with very little detail information. Rather than going through the whole process again: please provide this and that and are you sure, and then halfway discovering that it was in fact a different problem than originally posted, I simply pointed you at that thread to ponder.

There are literally several dozen threads in this forum over the years about interfacing to Bronkhorst controllers. Just do a search for Bronkhorst on this forum. While the search function has been and still is very limited on this site, if you do a single word search it is actually quite useful.
