I have a comment (unrelates to MathScript).
I think there is a serious usability issue with the new "Probe Watch Window" in LabVIEW 2009 that requires twice as much effort from the user compare to previous LabVIEW version.
See this thread on LAVA for more info on this topic.
Feel free to comment (here or on LAVA).

Simple solution from NI, make the Probe Watch Window open source the like the Icon Editor, then you can create a new version (like you did for the Icon Editor!).

In our case we decided to not buy MATLAB for the hardware developer's (which they are used to using), instead we bought extra LabVIEW licenses..all because of the Mathscript feature.
It is a real hassle to have to worry about a license for this, regardless of the fact that the initial cost is 0 USD. It would have been much better if you had just added an amount to the price (not that we would have liked that either..., but it would at least have been much less annoying). One of the reasons we have the developer suite in the first place is to ensure that we have access to all (well, most of) the goodies we will ever need.
Someone mentioned that there were little activity on the Mathscript board here, but that is in no way an indication of how many users it has (!) - it just means that most people do not experience problems with it, or put their questions elsewhere (for script-related questions e.g. there are alternatives with a bigger user base).

@Magma:
You can read TDMS in Matlab without converting them first (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/0EEADA99DC7D00A4862572E30037C3A2).

@Herbert, thanks for the link. I had some difficulties using this method on large data sets so I used an easy work-around since disk space is cheap (also known as the coward's way out...).
There is an (out of date?) discussion of this at http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&thread.id=289453. As well, see the MATLAB TDMS m file posted by bradh at http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&thread.id=317079.
Since I recall reading somewhere that there's been a change in TDMS structure in LV2009, maybe we'll be seeing these discussions open up again.

Ya, I had hope that this was the case and that I could find that UI somewhere (I would have removed it altogether if it was password protected and hope that LV would still have worked ok), but I think it is one of these that are not accessible to us.
About the modified icon editor, out of curiosity, is it useful to you?

So I just got 2009 installed and I opened one of my old apps and went directly to the hieracchy screen and bot was I suprised!
Background is now white (I did think it was broken at first).
I think I like the new line style but give me some time to work with it before I commit.
Avery nice plus is the VI's from LVOOP show up! I really like that because the old hierarchy screen left them out. When I finally got into the guts of this app going big time LVOOP, the hierarchy was increasing less useful.
There a lot of new stuff in there but check out the dotted lines. I have not figured out what they sifnify yet.
Any ideas?

...And look you can see your whole hierarchy at one time!
Does anyone know what the redo and Group Libraries is supposed to do?
