Is NI Abandoning Web Service Deployment on Windows?

I've been developing and deploying web services with LabVIEW for some time now, and everything works fine on Windows Server 2022 due to the remaining support for Silverlight. However, with Windows 11 and future Windows Server versions no longer supporting Silverlight, this raises a significant concern for users like me who rely on managing LabVIEW web services on Windows platforms.

The official communication about LabVIEW 2021 SP1 indicates that Silverlight is no longer needed for managing web services, but this applies specifically to deployments on NI Linux Real-Time devices with System Image 21.5 or higher. This update does not address users deploying web services on Windows systems, especially given that future versions of Windows Server beyond 2022 will also lack Silverlight support.

Is NI planning to provide an alternative solution or update for users deploying web services on Windows platforms? Will there be a roadmap or upcoming release that facilitates web service deployment and management without Silverlight on Windows? Or are we witnessing the end of Windows support for deploying LabVIEW web services?

The lack of clarity on this matter is concerning for many Windows-based developers. Any insights or information about upcoming solutions would be highly appreciated.
