Is Name Multiplatform.vi - why you're hiding from us?

Why "Is Name Multiplatform.vi" (vi.lib\Utility\libraryn.llb\Is Name Multiplatform.vi) is not avaiable in palette? This is quite useful VI for filename validation.

This is situation similar to "Check Prime.vi" subject... Darren maybe another CAR? 🙂

"Is Name Multiplatform.vi" was presented in Darren's Weekly Nuggets in 2010 in this forum thread: https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Darren-s-Weekly-Nugget-11-02-2010/td-p/1298866 and was not initially intended for widespread use.

You can look up Darren's response explaining what is the general policy on Public and Private scope VIs here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Developers-Feature/Issue-VIs-in-vi-lib-that-are-not-in-the-palettes-... and contact R&D or Darren in person if you believe this particular VI should be made public.
