Is it possible to pass a signal from an input to a signal output with out doing anything

Hi all,

I am using a DAQ card 6601

I would like to take a simple digital signal input and pass it straight to an output, untill I recieve a different input at which point I want to send my own signal to the output port.

I have have a small program which reads a signal and then sends out a signal at the correct times the bit I am stuck with is just sending the input of one terminal to the output of another terminal with out changing any thing.

what do you mean with another "terminal"? Do you have more than one DAQ card? Can you show what you have so far?
