Is there a way to have NI Docs and Help always in original language (english)?

Solved!

In many cases, when right clicking a VI and selecting help, the help opens online. I´m living and working in germany so my regional setting is "germany".

Every time an online help page opens it opens in english, and then immediately changes to german.

I would prefer to keep it in english, since I use LabView and TestStand exclusively in english.

Is there a way, to force the online help (example: Set Menu Item Info Function - NI) to stay in english without having to change my location?

I'm having the same trouble and I think the answer to your question is no.

I changed the location of the website to United States.

One other thing you can do: There is a tool on your PC to choose whether you see the online help or the local help if available.

It is called 'NI Help Preferences' or 'NI-Hilfe Einstellungen'.

See: https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Offline-Help-window-in-LabVIEW-2022/m-p/4251163#M1236962  for more.

But if you uncheck the option you obviously don't get the online help.

That is very unfortunate.

I changed it to "czech republic" because that also changes it to english and is not "US".

But I would prefer to have the localization set to germany.

I also recently opened more NI Docs and Help pages and they always turn german, even though I already changed the localization several times.

Maybe NI might consider to add the localization option "Germany (english)"?

I haven´t. Until now. Thank you.

I consider it a solution.

Let´s just hope NI takes care of that eventually 🙂
