Is there an upper limit on the number of points that can be plotted using a CW 3-d graph?

For anyone interested in the future....

I managed to convert my app to use the 3-d parametric plot. This handled all of my data with no trouble and the final results are much better that I expected.

Here is an image of the results.

Please see my update on the other thread.

I am no questioning the nature of this feature I reported.

I have not found good doc's on these CW objects so the following is just a guess based on my observations.

When I draw a plot using the 3-d grid method, it draws lines connceting every point. For 30,000 points that would be 30,000! (30,000 factorial) lines. Is this an issue with exceeding the largest value that can be represented by a U32?

Hi Ben,

Unfortunately I do not have access into any of the documentation regarding the implementation of the CW3DGraph either. I do know that R&D has identified the 3D Graph as a problematic ActiveX feature and are working on a major rewrite of the implementation for future releases of Measurement Studio. I can include your comments in the CAR for R&D to investigate.
