JKI VIPM Installation error

This may not be the right message board, but I couldn't find one specific to JKI VIPM. I'm currently a student at Excelsior University and have been tasked with an assignment were interfacing LabView with and Arduino microcontroller is necessary. While trying to install NI LabView Linx ToolKit for this assignment I am presented with an error. Can you help me understand what is going on and what may remedy the error? Thank you.

There's an Error Code 8 in amongst all the text - this indicates that there's a file permission problem.  VIPM may need admin privileges to write to that folder on the D drive

Is this your own PC or one provided by the university?  It might be worth speaking to IT support if you are able, and maybe checking with your classmates to see if they have similar problems
