Keithley 2400 pulse control

Hello,

I am new to Labview and I want to do the following with a source meter 2400 model:

- apply a three regime voltage (three different ramps) and measure the current during each ramp. I want to be able to do this as fast as possible, meaning, one of the regimes may be just 0.5ms long;

- apply a pulse like (positive voltage and measure current/ negative current and measure voltage/ off time) and also do this as fast as possible so that one of the regimes can be as long as 0.5ms.

I have to be able to measure and save the data to a file during the experiment. Can any one help? If an example is provided I would be much appreciated.

If you go to Help> Find Instrument Drivers, you can download the driver for the 2400. There is an example that comes with it but you will certainly need to do some modifications. Whether the instrument can sweep as fast as you want is something that you will have to determine from the specs.
